Appointment of Independent Member to ComSuper Executive Board

ComSuper is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Kennedy as the independent member of the ComSuper Executive Board.

From his commencement as Board member on 1 July 2007, Mr Kennedy will contribute to the development and implementation of operational and financial management strategies to meet corporate objectives and Governmentally-mandated outcomes. Mr Kennedy will also play a pivotal role by assisting to monitor these strategies, ensuring ComSuper's continued compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

ComSuper's move to engage Mr Kennedy as its independent Executive Board member demonstrates the organisation's ongoing efforts to strengthen its governance arrangements.

From 1 July 2007, membership of ComSuper's Executive Board will comprise:

• the Chief Executive Officer
• the Deputy Chief Executive Member, Internal Services
• the Deputy Chief Executive Member, Information and Technology Solutions, and
• an Independent Member.

ComSuper's Executive members welcome Mr Kennedy to his new role and look forward to his contribution.
